Computer Systems Software Department

Research at the Computer Systems Software Department is aimed at theory and technologies of software development for computer and information storage-and-retrieval systems. Main areas of the research are:

• Automated data identification and automated data processing,
• Full-text information retrieval,
• Context-sensitive search of multimedia data,
• Parallel programming for distributed network environments,
• Multimedia data protection,
• Multimedia data compression.

Research activity at the Computer Systems Software Department is supervised by prof. Ivan Dychka, prof. Victor Legeza, assoc. prof. Yevgeniya Sulema, assoc. prof. Tetyana Zabolotnya.
